Collaborations with NGOs
NEED BASE INDIA
Founded in 2009 in Koppal, Need Base India is an organization who has 12 years of experience in working with children from unstable families and backgrounds and providing them care, protection, and education. As 2 organizations with very similar goals, when we first started it only made sense to approach them for help and guidance. After some discussion and visits where they got to observe how classes were held and how we operated they agreed to support us. They have provided us with invaluable help in the form of consistent advice and financial assistance through the form of educational and sports material. They have also provided support in organizing workshops on career guidance and attending events for the children.
NBI was a key part in the establishment of Sundar Bharat by showing unwavering confidence and support to us. We are thankful for all the help provided by them and look forward to working with them for years to come.
SAMARTHA TRUST
Samartha Trust is a non-profit organization started in April 2019 at Bangalore. The organization works towards creating an inclusive and equal society for children who are differently abled. The first step in social mainstreaming of such children begins with enrolment in school and in sensitizing the immediate community (that includes home, neighbors and school) around them. The NGO has developed community-based sensitizing programs revolving around the issue with an aim to promote sensitivity, awareness and most importantly social inclusion of the otherwise vulnerable children. Thus, giving these children like any other their rightful and equal chance towards growth and development. They are also working on the education sector. They are also supporting Sundar Bharat Foundation for the after school program at Munirabad.
Collaborations with Individuals
With the help of Mr. Anand Bhandari, Sundar Bharat Foundation obtained permission to use an empty government building to hold the tuition classes. When we first started these classes were held in open spaces under tarpaulin covers. Due to this invaluable help from Mr. Bhandari and the rest of the community, we have been able to obtain a safe and secure location to conduct classes.
